ABOUT THE ONION

Ever since Missandei came into my life, my perceptual senses have been opened towards nature, as if she helped me to tune my feelings to see through the sense of sight. This painting expresses how I perceive the tulip bulbs sleeping on the ground. I created the painting in February and felt them slowly stretching their little tentacles of roots and smelling the arrival of spring, opening their eyes already, ready to send their first petal toward the sky.
