IRIS

“Iris” took some time, it is one of those paintings that I thought I was finished with and then suddenly about 3 months later like it called me back in and I worked on it passionately another 2 weeks! For me it were the last finishing touches which formed this painting to perfection. Fast moving wheel, a whirpool to nowhere… like a lit fireplace that you stare into for hours and hours and let yourself float away…where only you want to be.
