MEDICINMAN

This painting was like therapy for me. The day the vet told me that our Trinity had an incurable disease, my life turned upside down. I have started to paint this piece not to lose hope that even though the diagnosis was terrible, I wanted to remain optimistic that she could be cured. I didn’t think about anything else during its creation, just that she would get well again. The chemistry of this painting was like a healer, and I started calling it MEDICINMAN.
Anyway, I took Trinity to another vet, where they found that the previous diagnosis was wrong. Trinity was given medication that helped her, and I am infinitely grateful that she recovered and that the painting that was created will forever symbolize to me the power of faith.
