At first, it was all just a coincidence arising from combinations of nonexistent chances. As always, when I start working on a blank canvas, it’s wild—lots of water and spontaneous steps. After it dried, the outline of a profile on the painting could not be overlooked. For a few months, I didn’t know what to do with it. A big curved snout, and then it became clear, and the completion of the painting proceeded with intention, giving space to a childlike love for the Vinettou TV series and the great chief Intschu - Tschuna.
