JUNGLE WAVES

For me, this painting is very deep, almost like a philosophy book.

It all started with virgin white on white then I added black and lots of gold and silver, brown and slowly some shades of “beetle” green. But then suddenly it was almost like the painting asked for a whole lot of blue… It was that moment when you feel as you are risking everything you’ve done so far. And then symbols and abstract figures from the olden days and the present all connected to a delicate spider web, which represents the mystic journey of life, all of that was born from that blue color and inspired me.

I couldn’t get enough of this painting. And even now I am still trying to find a reason to come back to it and add some more dots. If I hear it calling I don’t hesitate and go get it.
