PEONY REBORN

ABOUT THE PAINTING:
The topics I deal with are often related to my physical side. As a woman who has already gone through menopause and is coming to terms with the fact that she is not 25, not even 45 :-D, but 52, do you ever notice the changes that are rapidly occurring?
I guess it's been 3 years since I painted a painting touching on the unfolding and appreciation of a flower, even if its petals are losing their color - I dedicated it to my favorite flower, the PEONY; the painting is entitled FADING PEONY; and the peony is still somehow gorgeous and has a unique charm. After those few years, I returned to the subject, this time with some inner position of mine, where I perceived that beauty was actually up to me, my self-conscious feeling. So I tell myself that the peony that has flowered away has been reborn; the painting is called PEONY REBORN.
