This painting has gone through four distinct phases. With each one, I felt deeply satisfied yet over time, it was as if the theme itself couldn’t quite speak in the way that felt true to me. It remained quiet, unfinished. I kept returning to it, again and again.
Then came a stretch of days marked by a high fever. I couldn’t eat, I could only lie still. And when it finally passed, I felt reborn renewed. Around that time, I remembered that I had long intended to attend a week-long seminar called Inner Engineering. I sensed, deep down, that I wanted to preserve that “new” state, like when your favorite flower begins to bloom and you hope it will thrive for as long as possible.
That was when this painting finally called me in. And with every brushstroke of those final layers, I felt the quiet joy and deep insight that the teachings of Sadhguru have brought into my life.
